Home & Garden Party -Celebrating Home Designer since June 2001

My name is Brandy Solis, I am married to the most wonderful Man in the world, Josh! I also have two wonderful sons and a daughter. This is my story!

I joined Home Garden Party in June of 2001. I first discovered Home and Garden Party when a neighbor of mine brought over a catalog and invited me over to a party she was hosting at a friends house. Knowing i didn't have much money, i went anyway. Looking through the catalog I knew I had never heard or seen anything like HGP before.

At the party i was really soaking it all in.. watching the fun everyone was having and really loving how the designer was talking about the products. I was most moved when she was talking about HGP being a Christian company. Now my mother sold a few things in direct sales when I was a child and I never knew she made money doing it... I thought it was a fun hobby.

So, needless to say when the designer started to talk about how she is paying off her bills, I immediately perked up and listened to what she had to say! That night I took home some Opportunity information and told my husband I think I found something I can do but that would allow me to stay home with our 2 very young kids. My husband was very supportive and said "go ahead and give it a try." I am so happy that he was ok with me jumping right into something I had never done before or even though of doing before that 1st party.

7 years later, I could never be happier with my "job." I work when I need to and want to, I don't have to miss church events or school event that my children want me to be at. I don't have to pay someone else to raise my children either! I think that is the best part!

Thanks to HGP I get to be the Mom and Wife I want to be!
